Do This - Body Text
Body text, the nitty gritty of a website, is an essential
factor in the rankings of a webpage. Use the keyword phrase in
the first sentence and scattered around the top and middle of
the page.
Do not overuse this and "stuff" the page with this
phrase, rather think in terms of good quality language/natural
speech. A good test of this is to read the page out loud, if
it sounds repetitive then change a few phrases for synonyms until
the page reads naturally.
Another technique to use in the body text is anchor text,
linking to other pages, on and off site that would be of interest
to your visitors using the keyphrase as the text link. This is
a very important tip that can seriously improve your positioning
with Google.
If your site is high on graphics, but low on indexable text,
write descriptive text based pages on the subject of the page
and add a link "for those who wish to know more, etc"
and also hook it into the site map for ease of indexing.
Always remember, SEARCH ENGINES READ WORDS, THEY DONT SEE
PICTURES!
